AI for NHS work that keeps patient data private, and never leaves hardware we own.
We keep no conversations or patient documents. We process what you send, then it is gone, so there is nothing to leak or be compelled to hand over. Not UK-hosted on AWS. Not UK-region on Azure. Hardware we own, outside US CLOUD Act jurisdiction. Built by a clinician who works in the NHS.
Try it on a real letter, free →A Microsoft lawyer told the French Senate, under oath, he could not guarantee your data would never be handed to US authorities. We run on hardware we own, with no US parent, so that question does not arise here. Read what was said.
US cloud AI is subject to US law. Ours is not.
ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini are operated by US companies. The CLOUD Act gives US authorities the legal power to compel access to patient data, regardless of where it is stored.
US Cloud AI Providers
- Subject to CLOUD Act (H.R.4943)
- Subject to FISA Section 702
- US authorities can demand NHS data without UK court approval
- Patient data processed on shared global cloud infrastructure
Hush AI
- Hardware we own
- Structurally outside the CLOUD Act
- Patient data is processed, then wiped, no conversation or document is stored to compel
- Every query runs on hardware we physically own

Operational Efficiency

Honest boundaries, in writing.
Not an ambient scribe, not a medical device
Hush drafts documents under clinician review, referral letters, complaint responses, policies, leaflets. It does not listen to consultations or generate clinical notes from them. That boundary is deliberate: it keeps Hush firmly outside medical-device territory, and keeps the clinician as the author of every record.
Works alongside EMIS and SystmOne
No integration required, nothing installed, nothing for your IT supplier to approve. Draft in Hush, review, then copy into your clinical system as you would any document.
DSPT status, honestly
Our Data Security and Protection Toolkit self-assessment is in progress, not yet published. Pilots run under your practice's own DPIA, we provide a pre-filled template your practice adopts and owns. We will say so in writing the day our DSPT status changes.

Frequently asked questions
Is Hush AI a medical device or an ambient scribe?
No. Hush does not listen to consultations or generate clinical notes. It drafts administrative documents, letters, summaries, policies, patient information, under clinician review, on the administrative side of the MHRA medical-device boundary.
Where is NHS data processed and stored with Hush AI?
Processed on hardware we own, transiently, and not stored; chat history stays encrypted on the clinician's own device, never on our servers. Nothing is used for training, and usage audit logs are exportable. Hush is outside US CLOUD Act jurisdiction; its NHS DSPT self-assessment is in progress and its certification status is published openly.
Does Hush AI work with EMIS and SystmOne?
It works alongside EMIS and SystmOne with no integration required, copy and paste, no IT project.
Do you have NHS case studies or reference sites?
We will be straight with you: we are an early-stage company, and you would be among our first NHS practices. So rather than showing you another site's numbers, the free pilot generates your evidence, a written report built from your own audit-log export that is yours to keep whether or not you continue. The company itself is verifiable today at Companies House (17278687) and the ICO (ZC126901).
